Prompt #198

If you wish to do this as a spontaneous exercise, don't look at the word until you're ready to write (I recommend having Write or Die open in another tab). If you're going to mull over the word and write later, peek away.

Once you've completed your ficlet, please either comment here, or post a link to it, if you're posting on your own journal. Feel free to reference the community or number of the prompt in your outside posts, but if you use the actual word, please put it under a cut to avoid spoiling others, should they want to write spontaneously.

CW: violence, sex talk

--

"Okay, so yes, I did, you found me out. It was just that one time."

Gamora didn't roll her eyes. That was one of the damn things about Gamora. She just looked at you as if she knew the easiest way to rip your guts out so you'd stay alive for interrogation, which, fair point, she did.

"There were extenuating circumstances!" Peter said. "It's not like I enjoyed it!"

Gamora turned back to the nasty-looking weapon she'd picked up at their last spaceport, her feet propped up on the dashboard as she tinkered with its controls.

"Oh, like you've never had sex with something six feet tall and covered in fur."

"Peter, nobody cares. If I'm still sitting here after what the biometer picked up in the kitchen, I'm not gonna bail just because you've been fucking your way through every species in the galaxy." She lifted the weapon - which had way too many spikes for a ballistic weapon, Peter thought - and examined it under the dim cockpit lights. "I don't know why you're embarrassed." She shot him a nasty grin. "Though I'm not complaining. This is fun. Shame on you, Peter. Shame on you, you big slut."

"Okay, message received."

"Have you no standards? What would your mother say?"

"WAY out of line."

"Then shut up and check this out." She pressed a button and the weapon opened with a nasty 'shank' sound - to show a series of cradles for spiked grenades.

"Okay, that's cool."

Gamora grinned at the weapon like a proud mother. "Kinda old-fashioned, but it makes a real mess."

"I once had sex with three Asgardians at once."

"I know, I told you I checked the kitchen with a biometer. Did I tell you about the time I used on of these on a barroom full of mercenaries?"

"How will we ever resolve this sexual tension if you keep talking about murder?"

"Now you're getting it."

Peter sat back in his command chair with a sigh. He conceded the round, but a man doesn't bed three Asgardians if he's the sort to give up easily. Anyway, it was something to do. They had another three days until the next spaceport, and it's not like they had anything better to do. Have you ever tried playing Pictionary with a groot?
